Instituitional Website for Taslima Memorial College

Taslima Memorial College is a  college serving higher secondary students, offering HSC education. The institution manages several Hundreds of applicants yearly and required a modern platform to support digital admissions, academic workflows, and real-time communication. 

Before this project, the college lacked a centralized digital system. Key pain points included:

• Manual admission process: paper forms, long queues, and high data-entry workload.
• Inefficient communication: notices and messages shared through offline channels, often reaching students late.
• Routine management difficulties: schedule adjustments required manual updates and repeated circulation.
• Attendance tracking issues: teachers relied on notebooks or spreadsheets, creating inconsistencies and delays in reporting.
• No single source of truth: student, teacher, and staff data were spread across multiple files and departments.

The goal was to deliver a scalable, secure, and easy-to-maintain web platform that automated core academic and administrative functions. The approach focused on:

1. Digitizing the entire admission workflow with an online form, automated validation, and data export.
2. Centralizing communications through a notice board, messaging module, and administrative dashboard.
3. Building academic management tools including routine management and attendance tracking.
4. Ensuring security, compliance, and performance using modern web frameworks and optimized deployment.
5. Designing for scalability so new modules (results, fees, student portal) can be added without rewriting the system.

1. Requirement Analysis & Workflow Mapping
   • Conducted sessions with admin office, teachers, and admission committee.
   • Identified bottlenecks and designed a streamlined digital flow.
2. System Architecture & UI/UX Design
   • Built a modular architecture for admission, notices, routine, and attendance.
   • Designed responsive, accessible frontend suitable for mobile users.
3. Development Phase
   • Implemented the online admission form with validation and automated applicant record creation.
   • Created notice management system with instant publishing.
   • Developed teacher/staff directory.
   • Integrated class routine builder for admins and teachers.
   • Added attendance entry module with date-wise, subject-wise, class-wise tracking.
